Spaces in Time

Brycycle

light refracted

through a filled glass

of still water, sparkling

shadows beneath

slow moving in

the foreground

the bird’s songs

fill the empty sky

apart from familiar

travellers, Sun and Moon

siblings of above,

stars that speak but

are only heard in the

distances of time.
