Speaking purely scientifically,
physically, even deeper than the chemistry of biology,
a human being is just a state of energy.
Your feelings – a number.
Your memories – a number.
602415 – a lifetime in summary.
Whilst reading this, how many atoms did you engage?
How many chemical reactions did it take to survey this page?
Probably not a good idea to think about it,
and I’m sorry for assuming that you should.
But can a poem really be quantified thermodynamically?
Academically?
Theoretically?
How can the energy I have been expending
affect the energy you have moved comprehending
a poem that I have expressed from so far away?

Its structure and terminology - I really got into this.
