Tune: Southwell
('Lord Jesus, think on me')
Psalm 73 v.25-28
********
In heaven whom have I
But you, Lord, yet you nigh
To me be, in hearts reside
By your Spirit abide
Upon earth there is none
That I desire, but one
It be you, Lord God, holy, strong
Support us all life long
My flesh and my heart fail
But you, Lord, still prevail
You the strength of my heart e'er be
My part eternally
Good is it sure for me
To draw near to God, see
In Him I have put my trust, so
I all His works may show

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 6.6.8.6. One of the oldest hymns in the clip, written in about the 4th Century AD. Though the Psalms as the 'Jewish hymn-book' were written around the 11th Century BC.
