The Message

CLM

Message in a bottle,

Writing in the sand.

A beautiful flower,

Blooming in my hand.

Look at the signs,

What do they all say?

My perfect dream,

Is coming my way.

Look around, time will tell,

Why the pennies are in the wishing well.

Wandering thoughts, shooting stars,

Have always seemed to help mend the scars.

Hoping one, praying too,

Prayers were answered when I met you.

Hurting hearts beat fast,

Mine beats faster, you’re here at last.

Make a promise, know you’ll keep,

Promise me now, as I sing you to sleep.

        'Wandering thoughts, shooting stars,
Have always seemed to help mend the scars.'
reminds me of a film I watched, with a similar theme
your writing style has that fresh feel of having been written in the spur of the moment, reflecting the romantic nuances of whatever inspired your poetic creativity
