Sunday vibe to leave the past behind

Poetic Dan

After letting my toes take the shock of a cold sea, something my mind still struggles with.

I've ended the week with a grounding from the grass, to remember all the beautiful laughs.

Not all things may feel pleasant but if we train our mind, then true serenity will always be easy to find.

Others can put up signposts and even hold our hand, yet we all look through our own hourglass to walk from the past.

Let nothing define us, there are many out there to show what being human is really made of!

I only hope to be half as powerful as the ones that help me look up!

  • Comment from author about the poem: Video won't work because I now see that when it says "share" at the end I can't on this site... yet can on others or messenger! O well it was just a walk, then my little lady and the shadow of puppy! 50 seconds of what has given me the ability to write it out...... still so many boxes to unpack but we are home and the sun is out! To fill my spirit and keep pushing past my limits...

You have come up from the valley into which you had fallen and are now rising into that wonderful new life which will get better each moment.
