and it's alright I know you're just playing by the game
but when I changed the game for you
my control widened
and the game I played changed just for you
now I'm trying to figure out what to do
learning how to play a much bigger game without you
its hard not having someone to just stand by
sucks sometimes but i guess I'm better off without you
I figured id try to start finding my own piece of mind
but it's hard when everything looks a little grey compared to you
and I'm just stuck
in this blurry haze
ill identify my phase

and it pains me going through the motions

Of course you will be alright (I've had a little nose around in your back catalogue - not comprehensive, I'm afraid; so little time). You have a broad view of life and the world, strong opinions which will be all the better without the 'benefit' of someone else's filter.
You will move forward in your life and all will be fine.
