Tune: Repton
('Dear Lord and Father of mankind')
Micah 7 v.8 and v.18-20 {Old Testament prophet}
***********
There promises of salvation
Made unto the nation
Of Israel, by Micah, prophet
The LORD has blessings for them yet
He did not them forget
He did not them forget
Rejoice not, O my enemy
When I am down, but see
That when I fall, I sahll arise
When I sit in darkness, my eyes
The LORD lightens, hears cries
The LORD lightens, hears cried
Who is a God like unto you
That pardons sins? You do
Sins of His people, heritage
The way to God we cannot bridge
Of our own strength, courage
Of our own strength, courage
But the LORD keeps notanger e'er
Mercy with us does share
Will turn to us again, and too
Have compassion upon us new
Cast our sins out of view
cast our sins out of view
They be as cast in depths of sea
No more discovered be
The LORD will show His truth, mercy
To Israel, and Abraham, see
He made His promise free
He made His promise free

Thanks Neville. Quite a difficult Old Testament book. I struggled a bit to pick out the 'good bits' from it. Unless ya want fire and brimstone themes?!
