Tune: Serenity

('Immortal love, for ever full')

Ephesians 1 v.3-6

**********

Blesséd be the God and Father

Of our Lord Jesus Christ sure

Who has blessed us with spiritual

Blessings, they in Christ all

According as He has chosen

Us in Christ, women, men

And children, before foundation

Of the world, e'en ere then

That through Christ we should be holy

Blameless before God, see

In love, having relationship

And giving God worship

God having predestinated

Us, it is so stated

To be His adopted children

'Tis by Jesus Christ then

God adopts us to Himself, He

Shows it agrees, it be

The good pleasure of His will, for

We His people e'ermore

It to the praise of the glory

Of His grace bestowed free

In this He makes us accepted

We part of the beloved

thankfully .. you trimmed this version down a bit Orchidee ..

Thanks N. Some moaned cos there were too many 'Alleluias' in a hymn. Well, there was one after every single line.
Did you spot that strange creature, the e'ermore, in it? If I add the 'v' it mucks the whole line up. There's a ne'ermore too in another of my poems.
