A child is born toothless
sucks from its mother for a year and some
then it comes a time
which no other time is more tough for a baby
weaning; mother says no more to sucking
the child cries all day and night
not yet habituated to satisfying itself with just food and water
hating its mother and cursing her
but later realises it's only a determination to aid growth
growing up is a process of passing through stages
passing from great to greater
which graduation from one to another is through unusual threats
always through the route of pain
through obstacles that conceal all smiles
difficulties make us who we will be
they have already made us who we are
troubles are our turning point
every tear is worth paying the price of joy.

Even the hardships of today too shall pass...
Without darkness how can we appreciate the light. Pleasure is all the richer for sufferings endured beforehand. All these wisdoms are contained in your words today. Good stuff indeed.
This is where experience in life begins, it cannot be taught but makes us what we become.

I like it best when the Poet utilises art, as their exclamation point
to the insightful points: excavated, with their poetic words...
a wonderful message, good write
