Omniscient Oration

orchidee

Tune: Buckland

('Loving Shepherd of they sheep')

Psalm 139 v.1-6

*******

O LORD God, you have searched me

Known me, all there is to see

You know when I do down sit

And when I rise up, each whit

You do understand my thought

Even from afar off brought

You surround my path, my way

My laying down, night and day

You are acquainted with al

My ways, help me, I not fall

For there is not a word in

My tongue, but ere I begin

Before I speak it you know

What I shall say, even so

Every word, and you are near

Behind and before me here

You on me your hand have laid

Your Spirit, set me sure, staid

Such knowledge too wonderful

Too high, I not know it all
