Heavenly Helper

Tune: Doncaster

('Put thou thy trust in God')

Psalm 54

*********

Save me, God, by your name

It is strong, still the same

Hear my prayer, O God, and give ear

Assure me you are near

Oppressors seek my soul

Troubles do take their toll

My enemies think not on yoy

LORD, for my good act, do

Behold, God my helper

Will good on me confer

He with them too that do uphold

My soul, their virtue told

I will praise you, LORD, here

You do to me appear

In your goodness you have saved me

From out of troubles, see
