All of the pieces of it
jostled around over an hour
with a friend in conversation.
She simply pointed
with her questions
toward my decision
I will go to France
to Toulouse where I will
lose only my ignorance
and perhaps my innocence.

Enjoy your trip to France Liam, my granddaughter lives and works in France.
Andy
Thank you Andy.
I've got a tenuous family connection myself. It's a lovely place.
You will be following the great tradition of the Grand Tour, where you will imbibe great cultural ideas and perspectives. So absorb it all.....and please be a good boy scout... 🙂
Good luck.
Will do Dave.
Thanks
'She simply pointed
with her questions'
*while snapping away - at yearning's frame, stilled - time*
'I will go to France
to Toulouse where I will
lose'
*to shed this unrequited - state, free myself
and find, a new muse - to life: for me*
(forgive me for borrowing your beautiful words and rudely interpreting them, to inspire my own feeble creativity)
stay safe dear youthful poet and hope you have a great time
jump on a train and visit our dear little blighty, when you're free
stay clear of London
and you're sure to have a memorable time, I guarantee
I like your interspersed lines :).
And thank you for the well wishes.
