NIGHT CANDLES

shadow424

street lights,

weak and bland,

exposing those

browsing

and

those desiring

god’s and

goddesses

loitering,

bending into,

leaning away,

guarding carefully

hushed exchanges

they walk

and turn,

shadows following

to the next light

where hearts wait

to be wanted

Those lights in our lives are there for all of us.

I like the crisp imagery adding to the relatability of your write
but sadly I lack the IQ capacity, to unfurl its message or meaning
(if any specific, was meant to be conveyed)..
still, I found this an enjoyable read
    thanks for sharing
