Your Day

tmjackson1968

You open your eyes and feel the day creeping into your bones.

You feel the emptiness in your heart.

You hear sounds around you but it's all just noise.

You look around and colors have faded, none of them vibrant anymore.

The world is turning and people are going about their day and you want to scream,  STOP!  Don't you know what today is?!?

You want time to stand still for 24 hours so the only things moving are the memories through your mind and you can sit with them or curl up with them or dance with them.

You can laugh with them or talk with them or cry with them but it's just you and your comfort and your peace and your day.

poetic self-expression is a wondrous accompaniment
to a healthy and rounded self healing/caring, routine..
