Heaven awaits an angel above
At its gold gates with open arms and love
Your spirit is free, your soul flies high
Why you left so soon, so many ask why
Your body is at peace, no more pain
One more angel, heaven has gained
There will be sadness and tears will fall
You be missed, and loved by all
As we look to the sky, your smiling down
I close my eyes and see an angel with a crown
