blue dragonfly

Jon Nakapalau

on a branch

cobalt glaze in sun sparking
head turning like a gear

you will blaze through summer
to the door of fall

then coil up
upon the ground

under sharp azure sky.

Thank you for reminding me of this wonderful spectacle seen beneath bright sunlight. A great natural reward for anyones eye.
