Tune: Camberwell
('At the name of Jesus')
Psalm 71 v.17-24
********
O God, you have taught me
From my youth, now see
I have shown hitherto
Your wonders here too
Now when I am older
To my help still stir
Forsake me not, may I
Go on, know you nigh
To show your strength unto
Generation new
That shall come to pass, for
Your mercies are sure
O God, your righteousness
Is high, I confess
You who have done great things
Unto you each sings
You, who have shown me great
And sore troubles, wait
I on you, you shall bring
Me out of each thing
Shall increase my greatness
Comfort me and bless
I will also praise you
With instruments too
You are the Holy One
Great things you have one
I will sing and greatly
Rejoice with voice free
For you my soul redeemed
And now I have deemed
Saved from my enemies
Say, They not me seize
