Dragonslayer

Jabberwocky

While I fought the dragon

She flirted with some knights

Who much preferred such romance

To the messiness of fights

And when my beast was vanquished

I turned to her with pride

Only to discover

Her now somebodies bride.

To the victor goes the spoils

But not it seems to me

Sometimes he who toils

Gains no victory

The battle for her heart

Was not won by honour

And anyway her heart

Was not worth the bother

Should the same occur again

I have a plan quite wizzard

Next time I’ll just slay the bitch

And court the giant lizard!

Good one J, and thank you for my first laugh of the day.
