Through poems I express these words
The ones I fail to say
So simple yet so elegant
They’re presented here today
In a completely Emma way
My love for you
You couldn’t know
How much you mean to me
So in theses next few lines
you’ll really start to see
we truly are meant to be
The way you love to work outside
You choose tractor over art
I definitely should tell you
We were perfect from the start
As you get to know someone
You learn every little thing
From what makes them tick
To what makes them want to sing
With you I’ve grown for oh so long
We’ve climbed these rocky hills
Together we fight on through
But sometimes we have spills
I knew right from the start
I wanted it to last
But then we had a fall
That was hard to get past
Trembling we stumble
Through this rough ravine
Almost drowning pushing through
Finally we’re seen
Stepping back, we’re learning
How to move on through
Getting stronger every day
I’m so glad that I have you
Moving on to part two
This poem is getting long
There are so many things to love about you
Maybe I’ll write a song
Like how you know me
Way to well
Like when I’m lying (which I can’t)
It’s easy for you to tell
Your cuddles on the days
That I am feeling sad
I really miss you so much
It hurts so dang bad
The way you helped me love myself
Desperately wanting me to see
That This crazy girl is perfect
Just by being me
The smile that you get
Whenever I’m around
Is the bestest thing ever
So please don’t ever frown
There are so many more things to say
But time is running out
Things are almost done today
