Who am I?
Am I just a speck in the Universe?
I soar high above the clouds,
I dive deep into the seas,
Trying to find myself,
searching and seeking.
Is it me, flying
on the gossamer wings
of the butterfly?
Is it me, mirrored on the petals of the flower
drenched in morning dew?
Is it me, flying on the wings of the wind
that blows past the mountains?
Is it me, riding the waves that
break on sandy shores.
Is it me floating on the clouds
in the blue blue sky....
I try to find myself
searching and seeking ,
I try to find the real me,
To be one with nature,
To be eternally free.

Oohh, I expect you're a fine flower, like one of them in the pic! A nice write J.
Thank you very much. Ha, ha, hoping to bloom into a fine flower. It's never too late.
Just don't bloom into a weed! lol.
Of all those things in the universe we are created. We are the wind, the flowers and the endless oceam waves. Children of the universe.
A quite, quite beautiful poem from you here today.
Thank you very much, feeling good. Yes, we are the earth, air, water, sky and wind. We come from that and go back to it. In between it's all about being able to appreciate mother nature, even the smallest things, a soft breeze, a small flower, a beautiful butterfly, puffy clouds in a blue sky, the list goes on and on.
Being one with nature is so wonderful in my life and may it be the same with you as well Jayasree.
Andy
Thank you very much Andy. A fluttering butterfly still holds so much wonder for me, even after all these years.
