Riding a Curve
Knowing her
like I did
indeed once
know her ..
Yet all but
far too briefly ..
Was like
riding a curve ..
Set in stone
upon a simple
eyelash flutter
A single
sun ray spied ..

A fine write N.
How about this lass? Should I meet her? Could I meet her?!
Thank you Mr. O ... this is a tricky one ... she had her ups and downs ... and although quite beautiful, she could quickly go off on one .............
A moody lass? I might swoon if I met her. Would I?
... I have no doubt, you might .. maybe
Unforgettable short lived times. Like ehen a beautiful butterfly lands on your forhead, you open your eyes to see its beautiful colours and it shits in your eye. Unforgettable.
... funny that, with everything else going on .. and coming off, I might add, I hardly noticed .. and never once complained ... however, thanks for checking in DA ...
You've bin battered and bruised by these birds lately, ain't you, Neville?
Any chance better times ahead? 😊
Advice to the lovelorn? Surely you could pass one of them on who would not be too damaging to poor old orchi? 😊
..................................................... My message would be ... never give up, there is always a chance .. thank you sir both from me and on behalf of Mr. O .. just in case he aint presently lookin 🙂
Sometimes we're touched by an Angel's smile and it stays with us for a lifetime. Beautiful poem N. ; )
.......................................... what a lovely thought and thing to say .. thank you AP and truly ... Neville

see now, that's that Poetry: that can never be replicated
merely copied and imitated...
simply, and as ever subtly: Brilliant!
thanks for sharing my friend
I really do appreciate your ongoing encouragement L.B .. a mere thank you hardly seems sufficient .. but I sincerely do ...
