Matters of the Heart

gerrylegister

Only the broken heart

Knows what it is like to

Live on the spur of insight.

Burning inside with the pain

Imagination is left to conquer.

Surpassed the glorious gain.

For her to stay upon earth

creating dreams in a new world.

With matters of heart and soul

You spread your wings and fly,

Through the clouds of the world.

The pain inside you tries to hide.

When I walk by your side.

To hold your hands and let you cry.

Wonderful words Gerry, may that pain subside with you by their side.
