Water is life, so is my poetic side

Poetic Dan

Water is life and so is my poetic side to me.

This has never about the money but spirituality

As each souls journey is a part of my own

To ride past the waves of fear to carry us home

For within our shell lays the potential for more

Not to look any further than our inner door

Finding the raw to push past but a breath to settle

Instinctively letting go for the knowledge to hold on

This is my endless lesson I am proud to be a part of!

  • Comment from author about the poem: Really busy with a different dog every day for a 24hr stay. Finally going to take a few days off next week for a trip to Wales! Yet with a nearly 2 year old beauty of girl and an ambition to help live the dream. Comes with never-ending challenges, just got to be glad to be apart of it all...Hope everything is as well as it can be in the world of poetry!

And so you should be proud, the journey you have made over the last few years is so uplifting and you have shown it to us all. Keep moving forward with the joy, wonder and love that is now with you.

Your life seems pretty full and interesting, Dan. Your lines very positive with a pulse. A life pulse, I think.
