Pool

M.E.M.

First time freezing cold,

to the point of being burning hot.

A new, different sensation

Soon use to it.

Going numb,

feeling the sun on my face.

Starts to get warm from the inside out,

First slowly then altogether.

Just laying there

in the freezing cold water.

The wind

blowing my hair in my face.

I go under,

My body feeling as light as air.

My hair swirling in my face.

This is a vacation.

Staying in a pool,

forever.
