Careful with that paint pot

Saxon Crow

Life is a canvas, a vast landscape 

There are no rules at all except those you create. 

And here you give birth to some part of your soul

something you feel, something you know

You colour your world with its hues and its shades

A world full of love, a world full of hate

You are the artist, the painter, the obbsessive sculptor

The dreamer, the visionary, the bold creator. 

You who creates and destroys at your whim

This fragile life so paper thin 

Shape me a world so full of colour

For this pot of clay is like no other

Show me a feeling, a thought or an act

Then make something else

And never look back

This life is yours can't you see? 

So paint me a picture with all your good deeds

Because here in this world we are what we see

And all of your dreams, all of them, here are set free

    Lovely words 🙂 I liked reading this . We are the artists .. the creators ... maybe so ..

    But sometimes it’s difficult to feel we can create what we want ... and sometimes life isn’t the way we want it to be ,

    I think we all need to feel empowered and strong enough to create what we want

      Thanks. I believe we create what we need, even when we aren't conscious of it. The point being take responsibility for your life.
