Tune: Rivaulx
('Father of heaven, whose love profound')
Proverbs 8 v.10-14
**********
Wisdom says, Do here receive my
Instruction, and not pass me by
Receive me rather than silver
I shall blessings on you confer
And receive knowledge rather than
Choice gold, no comparison can
Be made with me, for I better
Than rubies, or rich gems allure
I wisdom do dwell with prudence
It does include fine common sense
I wisdom do find out knowledge
Wit and discretion to you pledge
The fear of the LORD is to hate
Evil, pride, and arrogant state
The evil way, perverse speaking
These things the LORD not glory bring
Wisdom has counsel, and is sound
With her right paths through life are found
She is understanding, and strong
Shall prosper you through all life long

You got any gold, silver, rubies, etc? You won't need them. Pass them on to me. Get wisdom instead!
Erm, I not quite got the idea of this poem! lol.
"And receive knowledge rather than
Choice gold"
Such very true words Orchi.

Thanks Gold. Yes. the idea could be - meanwhile, send ya gold to me! heehee.
Got any myrrh?
Nice write Orchi
Thanks SC. I might have myrrh, but it got no vowels in it! But 'y' is sometimes considered as a vowel at times.
Good write, Orchi.
Thanks Jerry.
