Tune: England's Lane
('For the beauty of the earth')
Proverbs 9 v.1-12 parts
*********
Wisdom has her house builded
Made a feast, we may be fed
By her, all delicacies
Wholesome, nourishing are these
All is ready, her servants
Say, Come, join, choose wisdom hence
Who needs wisdom and learning
Or who lacks understanding
Turn in to house of feasting
Find treasures here in each thing
Forsake foolishness, and live
Wisdom, she shall good things give
Give instruction to the wise
And their wisdom sure will rise
Teach the just and fair, they will
Increase in their learning still
For by wisdom your days shall
Be multiplied, shall fare well
And years of life be increased
Not poor state nor be decreased
The fear of the LORD it be
Beginning of wisdom, see
Knowledge of the Holy One
Is understanding well won

Reminds me of Norman Wisdom. I didn't mean it Mr Grimsdale.
Thanks dusk. lol. I got no more wisdom for ya in this series. There's hundreds of Proverbs though - in the book of the same name in the Good Book.
Its only the \'good book\' if youre gullible enough to believe in it orchi. Don't forget that the people behind the churches who promote it are a bunch of 1) Wealthy businessmen with dubious ethiscs and 2) a bunch of peadophiles and their protectorate.
What are you doing walking around at 3 in the morning? It doesnt sound vrty wise to me!
We were led by a star
Led by a bottle more like
