Judas Trap

Saxon Crow

Of everything i've done for you
Theres only one thing left to do
A simple kiss upon my lips
To seal my fate to a crucifix
I only gave you everything
But you wanted more than i could give
So now i wait for death to come
And take your burden as His son
I hope you're happy and i hope you're pleased
I'm finally brought down to my knees
But the jokes on you my fragile friend
For the mercy in me will be your end
And the crucifix i stand upon
Comes falling down to crush your soul
As I'm lifted to a higher plane
Your love for me will be your shame
So in the end thy will be done
For the son of man and the treacherous one

The book these stories come from has a great deal to answer for.
    Good poem though SC.

Lol. No the interpreters have to answer for it. The lesson in the book is simple. But not for us idiots!

It's mysterious. It's written, Jesus Himself saying it: 'The Son of Man (Jesus) goes as it written of Him; but woe unto that one by whom He is betrayed; good were it for that man if he had never been born'. (Matthew 26 v.24).

        Yeah i know 😉

Yet Judas was the 'loser' in the end. But as a 'thief' he was also the 'treasurer' of the group of 12 disciples!

          Did Judas have a choice?
If he did would it have thrown the whole thing off course?

Thats what i wonder. As I've already stated, if it wasnt for Judas there would be no resurrection.

If there was no devil would there be a need for a God?

Judas was blamed by one and all
Though many claim, he fulfilled his call.
No richer poem I have read
