A SIMPLE ACT OF KINDNESS

Andy Hunter

We all have hopes, dreams, memories and regrets
Past actions or words we somehow can't forget.
When everything seems dark and we struggle to see the light
And we can't figure out how to put things right
Perhaps strayed down the wrong path and feel we don't belong
And deep inside we realise our decision may be wrong
A simple act of kindness like a gesture or a smile
Can often ease our burden and make life seem worthwhile.

Heartwarming and very true, how little gestures and acts of kindness can put a completely different perspective on someone’s day
