while a prisoner of one,
the other challenges my sensibility
with which, do I reconcile?

The way you present it, you apparently have not got much choice, Suresh. Better hone sensibility.
I will accept your concept of 'fate' in order to enter your frame of reference, but don't necessarily accept it as real outside that.

Fate cannot be changed, what will be will be.
