Twitarus

Neville

Twitarus

He was not pushed

He dared to fall and subsequently jumped,

Believing he could fly

...

He could not fly

So fell instead, broke both arms, his neck and skull

Oh’ what a silly boy

Definitely a twit - so far so good. Should also be nominated for a Darwin Award....or perhaps if he was from my era, he was told that if he drew on a certain funny cigarette he would believe he could fly...doesn't quite work Neville, but it's the best I can do.....

Must say, it did make me chuckle for a bit when I first caught sight of the little fella .. it was only on the way down, my smile turned into a frown ... but by then it was too late and .. writ 🙂

Ha ha - - no dwinkies for me at that time o' day Nev - - Hoping you realize twas all in good fun and with my fancy stirred by the read I got rather carried away by the swing and the beat in those Twitarus lines - - on the same wave length I am to your sense of humour .............x

reminds me of the saying, "you can't fix stupid". But you N, have a way of fixing a blank page. And fixed it right well you did. ; )

yes: we certainly are, aren't we
and not - so much, just metaphorically either, sadly
its that Icarus - of foolhardy heredity, I suspect...
that's a razor sharp wit you've cultivated my friend
                  you can recognise incisive humour
when the words paint a worryingly sobering reality
                  yet you're still - genuinely
                  laughing with unfathomable gaiety...
                  brilliantly executed!
a write I wish, I possessed the talent to pen: sincerely
a bit early in the week and day, I know
but cheers for the giggles anyway, my friend 🍻

                  • Neville

............... ah' but sometimes, ya just have to wing it .. maybe ......................... sincere thanks and in abundance L.B .... Cheers indeed my friend 🙂
