You 'liking' there?
You pressing that 'Like' button often?
You can even like your own poems
But only once
Though you may be able to come back
And like them again - and again - and....
Only one 'like' each time though
That's bit of cheating there!
And it's a bit 'sad' I know
For people with nothing better to do - lol
Or in need of a huge ego trip
But, hey, why not 'like' your poems once
If no-one else has 'liked' them
You will at least have one 'like'
Even if it's your own!
And - there's no 'dislike' button
No one writes 'I don't care for this poem much'
Someone wrote that on a load of poems
On another site somewhere
And incurred poet's wrath
Whoops!
Woof, woof, Fido still on guard
For any poems not marked 18+
When they should be!

I like it.
How can anyone not like those cats?!
You've been around, ain't you orchi? Your penultimate stanza - wow the wild west of poetry land!
Ta for the advice, but you can only do it once - I've tried....
Thanks Dave. lol.
Nothing stays the same does it ... heart shaped buttons .. whatever next ..
I just hit the bloomin thing, now ya got three ..
I would never hit my own tho' not for nobody ...
happy to press gently for poetic peers n persons who prefer to present prose ...
Neville 🙂
Thanks N.
That time in 1066 there was no way I would press the like button!!!!
Thanks Gold. lol.
Yeah, I came back on today or was it when I uploaded my last poem "Thursday 24th June 2021" , to find the new "like" button, I must have been gone a fair bit bless me.
Anyway, you've written something very important here orchidee, about the importance of self-liking and also celebrating what you like and what what you have enjoyed. Also another very important fact, is that all is positive here, and that there is no such thing as a "dislike" button, which is a very decent thing indeed.
I will try ever so hard not to push the "like" button on one of my own, but I have pushed it for this one of yours; right here.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well!
Thanks AS.
