Tune: St Hugh
('Lord, teach us how to pray aright')
Hebrews 4 v.14-16
*********
Seeing we have a great high priest
Jesus, cares unto least
He is passed into the heavens
We view Him through faith's lens
He Jesus the Son of God, let
Us hold fast even yet
Our profession, our faith in Him
In word, deed, prayer, and hymn
For we have not a high priest which
Cannot be touched, but rich
From His store He can sympathise
For us He not denies
He can feel our infirmities
Our weaknesses are these
For He full divine, full human
Knows human hearts, each one
And He was in all points tempted
Yet without sin, our Head
Let us therefore come boldly to
His throne, find help anew
The throne of grace, that we may find
His presence loving, kind
Obtain mercy, and help of grace
In times of need we face

Fair enough .. you can beat an egg, a carpet and a drum, but you just can't beat your infirmities being felt ..
Thanks N.
