Dr. Facilier

M.E.M.

Flipped

Folded

Fate!

Seventy-Eight in all,

only three required for you.

Define your past,

present,

and your future as well.

I tell all.

No trick of the light,

nor slight of hand.

Thirteen!

Transition through life.

Inevitability of death,

at ones door.

You may take a chance,

if you dare.

Or keep fate hidden from view

All is up to you.

Take a glimpse at your future.

Be warned,

for fate!

lies with me.

Now go ahead,

I’m eager to shine.

Flipped

Folded

Fate!

Is it true?

Maybe.

    what a wonderful read
really liked the drop down, unveiling format
    both for its metaphorical insight
    and its natural poetic flow,
thank you for sharing, dear poet
(sadly until I listen to the song, eventually
I know little of the context or meaning behind it
    but I'm hopeful
the message is a seemingly positive one)
might be worthwhile to include a link
so future (lazy) readers like me
can quickly gain an appreciation for your write
    inclusive of its meaningful context
    especially, the numerical references
