No Mean Feet
The fact he said, his feet just got bigger
Made her smile
But then, she had not seen him for a while
and knew
it was not true but smiled regardless ..
After all,
she was an expert on such matters
and could bullshit with the best of them
The fact he
hadn’t kept in touch at all, and then,
turned up like that
Out of the blue, also made her smile ..
Because ..
She then knew, just how much she could
trust herself
while still hurting him, and big time too …

Was it Louis Armstrong who sang "I dunt luv ya cos ya feets too big" - -or did I dream that one up after reading your exposure of a weak excuse for not gettin' in touch - whatever amigo I giggled until the last line - then saw how volatile your ladies are gettin' lately - - all in the game of love tho' eh .......... x
Am so glad that these words tickled your fancy Fay .. 🙂
Oohh, I best meet this lass! heehee.
Best not Mr. O .. she would eat you alive and turn your pelt into a collar for her parka 🙂
A wee bit of tension going on there? They've got one hell of a past, Neville, and he may need his feet in good condition to get out in a hurry....
I do believe there may have been a happy ending after all ... funny old world innit ... cheers DD 🙂

So how are your feet now Neville? LOL
The maintenance of a good lady's esteem requires more than the occasional, out of the blue, turn up. The emphasis here upon the word 'good'.
.. My feet are fine DA thanks for asking .. You were asking weren't ya and not conducting an audit 🙂
