Passive Messaging

Jerry Reynolds

Luxury senior apartment renting,
presents occasions for gamesmanship.
Tacky moves are un-relenting
in parking, Olympic, brinkmanship.
Each suite has garages and drives
suitable for your autos to store.
Tacky Bob, in a passive strive
to get freelance Jon his truck to moor,
anywhere else but here,
a cunning plan, to coerce, he has devised
for Jon to park where Bob feels less severe.
The use of both his cars this scheme requires
to block the spots he doesn’t wish Jon in charge.
If you have done the math you are concluding.
Bob now can’t use his driveway or garage.
Passive messaging can be eluding
Freelance Jon just parks his truck
in any spot handy to pluck.

Once a neighbor pursued a course with conviction
The landlord responded with a notice of eviction.

Amazing how you have taken an issue of tension and transformed it into a poetic read

Some will just not allow others into there lives no matter how minimal it may be.

So true, and cut off their noses
to spite their faces to prove it.

            yup, those passive aggressive actions
'some' people - just delight, in playing-out
only, that thick layer of self-denial
            ends-up, a regrettable legacy of their self-thwarting
and pitifully pathetic: way of life..
            a great depiction Jerry
this words not only highlight, the root core
of those unsavoury traits in people, we come across
            so regularly in our everyday,
but by your depth of insight, we get to view it
            from the aggressor's perspective
and kinda, get a feel for how they justify
            their actions;
such a brilliantly weaved, didactive write
            thoroughly enjoyed the read!

History has taught us- people can make a convincing-sounding case for anything.
