My River, my Reason

Through the window when I glance, I see him flowing very calm
I open the door and there he is, rolling with the same charm
Majestic by the day, tranquil by night 
As much as you see, you want more of that sight 
 
Amongst all the turmoil and hurricanes, 
Amidst all the tickles of fish and troubles from within, 
Yet he stands tall, strong and shines
With beaming regality blessed from the divine 
 
The river I see every day outside my window
He reminds me of you, your calmness and your virtues 
The adoration, the care, the composure you bestow 
The comfort you give me through virtual and real hugs 
 
Stand tall my love, with all the values you are blessed with
Keep spreading the calmness, the stoic smile you live with, 
Please love me the same, this is a token of my humble beseech
Keep me in line, teach me how you keep loving me without expecting much
