She sung me a song
To show where I belong
Up on the hill
On our longboards
I've wrote a poem or two
To tell the world it's true
Who could I be ?
With what they see
Putting light in the dark
The day they entered my heart
Grounded by a hand
Drifting off by a voice
I guess I'm try to say
Thanks for rolling my way
Dancing everyday
On our favourite stage
KING and QUEENS of the Hill
Gliding into fields
No worries comes real
On our longboards....

- Comment from author about the poem: Finding time for my rhymes as they always will be on my mind and helped me grow to this forever changing being. Also have the honor of a special case staying with me for a month of rehabilitation, halfway through and can slowly feel our transformation. For within each tear I let go of my fear. Keep up the write! Always appreciate your time....

May that light get brighter every day Dan.

Hopefully so bright I turn into Mr Fahrenheit or at least stay as the great pretender lol
Always appreciate your time my friend
'Putting light in the dark

you have such a way of getting
to that core nucleus of worded veracity
in all the wisdom you imbue
within every write, I read from you...
thank you!
dear Poet: sincerely
And truly feel blessed to read your words and feel your magnificent vibes my friend.
Always the wind on my back, gently keeping me on track!
I really like the happiness in your poem/song, Dan.
Ashamed to say though, I'm not quite sure exactly what longboards are..?
Your video> Great head scarf - reminds me of the TV show Survivor - any connection? 😊
Well that happiness is all the children of this world deserve my friend and always a honour to be given your time.
They are just a big skateboard my friend, for those that want to cruise and to old for tricks. (not that I could)
If I post something tomorrow I'll be sure to throw up a video of me and her on the seafront.
Ps. I now use an electronic one as my knee can't take more that 10 minutes now lol
A motorised skateboard, Dan? They'll be adding windscreen wipers next! 😊
I'll just put the bike helmet on... lol
