Notice of absence from Doggerel Dave
Not absent - still here!

I have plenty to say today:
The world is a disgusting mess;
So I intend to have my way:
I have plenty to say today.
Let others be cheerful and pray -
It will work out alright, don’t stress.
I have plenty to say today,
The world is a disgusting mess.

- Comment from author about the poem: Dedicated to Dove who introduced us (well me anyway) to the triolet. Could be the new fashion here. Thought I should get in early ahead of the rush..... 😊

You have beaten the rush with a fine triolet Dave.
Andy
Good reflexes you reckon, Andy?
Of course Dave.
Good to read you having your say with a powerful triolet Dave..
Just lately that's all I seem to be doing - having my say in rather loud terms, Fay...I'm going to try, maybe not absolutely immediately, to lighten up a bit...
The triolet - I really do like these strict forms, limits and boundaries; they give me something to bounce off. Thanks for your support.
uncaninely precise you old dog
who said ya couldn't learn new trix ..
............................ 🙂
Probably me Neville, as I claim to not understand electronic payments and continue to present cash (used non serial notes well shuffled and scuffed).........
A very enjoyable read indeed
Thanks a lot Suresh - I enjoyed doing it.
Brilliant
Cheers, Mate.
I must agree . The world is a mess today. But we must live in it . Take the good and ignore the bad. It helps when we don't watch the news .lol You have a good day.
Good advice there I think - Thanks for that. The news is driving me nuts right now.
I will try - you have a good 'un too.
The world is indeed going to hell in a handbasket Dave. Your articulation of its demise is spot on my friend.
Late to the party but feeling pretty much the same way and yes three is the magic number having said it three times it must be true and evokes not only attention but a sense of reality.
