Passed The Universe.

Goldfinch60

As I step off the Universe into this new place

The wonder of love and happiness abound,

A new place where there is no sorrow,

No unhappiness,

Where all the life I see is good.

Agreement is the way of life,

Where all help each other into a better way,

A better way of living in this place.

I look back at the Universe and wonder,

Wonder why my Universe, my world

Cannot be like this and all would be fine.

But I have moved on and am now here,

Here in this new place where sorrow,

Sorrow and acrimony have never been.

Now happy in my life where love is for all,

Maybe I have found that place,

That place the Hippies now live,

And are led by their mantra,

Make Love Not War.

  • Fay Slimm.

You describe my idea of paradise here my dear Andy - - making love not war is what I endorse too -- a most moving read .

        soothes our aches
        and gifts us, our phoenix
        of revitalised breath...

          Good read, Andy.
Well suited for this dark and rainy New York day.
          (sideways rain I may add)

          • Goldfinch60

Glad it suited you Jerry, sideways rain is quite something as it must be a bit breezy as well. LOL

Life is local, and sometimes it takes time to realise what's best for the whole world, is also best for ourselves. And it's resulted in this fine meditative and uplifting piece!

                • Goldfinch60

Thank you Beano for your kind words, much appreciated.
