Submitting
An ink-toned ebony night captures
sound and hones from stillness quiet rapture.
And surging toward me while I lie
powerless a God-shine reimburses my mind.
Consciously losing time's track day's
negatives melt as senses fall up into space.
I face nova's glow and while black's
velvet stays holed I shall digest this galaxy.
One with the cosmos my stress ceases
for in submitting to space me-ness recedes.

'Consciously losing time's track

as senses fall up into space.'
as usual, decadently worded dear Fay!
love the imagery of falling-up
as we surrender
to that soothing cadence of acceptance
knowing, its futile
to try and fight our learning curve: of plight...
Glad you saw through all that falling dear friend. surrender we must to the limitless space eh ? Much gratitude L.B. for your words of encouragement to my version of Submitting.
Beautiful, Fay.
I have felt that. Love lying out on a clear night and reminding myself, "I,m just a part of all of that"
Glad you too have felt the zing of feeling nearer to just everything up there dear Jerry.
Such a peaceful, harmonious night to merge yourself into the universe.
Oh yes the night has to be clear with starlight galore - thanks so much for the read and comment.

Glad to know you too view closeness essential to being taken to rapture by looking upward..... just meant to say thank you and nicely and look what I was led to.......... x

Being at one with the cosmos is such a wonderful place to be Fay.
Andy
Wholly agree dear Andy -- the cosmos has secrets that busy minds can never receive. Stillness is vital to being at one with nature.
