Illusion

tulipslove

don't be fooled by the moon

the stars embracing the night sky around her

dressing her with a shiny dress

don't be fooled by the moon

her light is an illusion

this cold facade won't hold you on dark nights

don't be fooled by the moon

as the butterflies fly around this shadow

by the window, this white sheet

is not the rainbow you've been dreaming of

don't be fooled by the moon

wait a little, there always is a sun

that'll wrap its arms around you

and melt you into its warmth

But the moon is so meaningful in loving relationships.
