Shall and Because

Fay Slimm.

Shall and Because.

Because each granite-necked minute strangles
past bliss shall grief's set vessel so anchored
reach love's fair coastline no more ?

Shall a tear-drenched spark within dark's loss
not fire venturesome's calling ?

Because a pearl's open glint becomes staved
on grave's barrier-reef shall learning re-train
or stay blind to mere chances ?

Shall a caged heart's talons gnawing at need
not seek to call for balance ?

Because cinders get cold when unbellowed
shall a fresh spark not hold similar knowing
when and how to light contact  ?

Shall stalled life not take offered moreness
             and share another romance ?

You have the mastery of using the features of a revered creature and poetize it to reflect the emotions of another.

Many memorable phrases to enjoy =>
"Because cinders get cold when unbellowed." There's a lot there!
