We come into our lives ready to learn,

Each day we see something new

Giving us our future towards our life.

But in those times there are others,

Others who believe they know better

And try to lead you down a different path,

Different to the one you want to follow.

But you know where you want to go in life,

So live the way you want to live,

Not the way you are expected to live by others.

      Good advice, Andy - but freeing yourself from other's expectations can be very difficult - especially if religion and/or culture is in the mix.
