In a troubled dream
where faces changed
a once romantic chase
became a family of games
whence woodland picnics
take place on the shore
on a train journey home
beneath a quilt of amour
caught up in a web
laid on deja-vu pillows
frogs and princesse's
pass wind in the willows
tenderest finger tips
plunge a dagger to flesh
in a fresh opened coffin
they've laid you to rest
beneath the surgical smile
of a wallclock's reveal
eat cheese around bedtime
and dream the surreal.

Thank you LBM.
Lol. Just don't go for Epoisse de Bourgogne!
Cheese has no effect upon my dreams of which I am aware but mother always insisted it would all those years ago.
stinkin bishop's a bit of a fave when it comes to cheese, but there are so many aren't there ..
Never had the notorious effect one hears so often about tho .. but one certainly get's one's drift sir ... 🙂
I've seen it on sale but never tasted or smelled stinking bishop... its a wannado. No I've never experienced weird dreams from cheese either. Thanks Neville.
Good write, Dusk.
Rice, mushroom gravy, and biscuits for me. Will try the blue cheese on your recommendation.
Blue cheeses are nice anyway but have never given me strange dreams to be honest though i suspect your magic mushroom gravy can give some. Thanks Jerry.
Never did like ripe cheese at bedtime my friend but as for your rhyming now I love that to bits and pieces.
Thank you very much. Cheese is just yummy cheese to me and never effects my delightfully weird dreams so far as i am aware.
May those strange dreams take us to places of wonder not fear.
Andy
I've been there and back and all over the place but without cheese> Thanks Andy.
