The colours of rain

Orison

Trickling through the leaves as they dance to the winds, a colour so green
ohh rain made of emeralds and jade
thee so calming and serene

Pouring out on the concrete and the urban jungle
ohh rain of the sewers and greys
thee bringer of potholes and wails

Gushing through the slopes and hill sides
ohh rain thee so muddy and brown
bringing abundance and fertility downstream

Thee colour the lives in so many shades
taking on the garbs put out for thee
May thee forever dress vibrant and lovely
