Each day our age increases,
The more we live
The older we get.
When we reach old age
We are lucky, as some never do.
We look back to the grace,
The grace of our youth,
Trying to go back to those times.
That quest is so futile
When we realise,
Realise that
Wisdom come with age,
And that the age of wisdom
Has many graces as well.

Nicely written )
We are only as old as we feel ... so they say .
So they say. In my mind I am in my 30s but when I try and do something physical I know that I am in my seventies.😂😂😂
Andy
I am in my thirties but sometimes I actually feel older ... not always but sometimes ...
Yes , in the mind ...
Andy - I'm not sure I had a graceful youth; not sure I have wisdom in old age. But beyond that message I can join the general celebrations 'cos I'm glad to still be here for sure - perhaps wisdom will come one day......
You are still here Dave so all is good.

No, No, No! We are not as old as we think, or feel. We are as old as we are.
How we feel or think are completely separate.
I was at the Doctor's the other day, minor problem, when this gentleman walks in looking fit as a fiddle. Thought he was 50 ish maybe 60. Fills out the necessary paper work, and then gets called to the desk; " Sorry Sir, you wrote your birth year as '22, this is only '21......"
Well, I wasn't born this year, that's 1922." " Oh, so sorry, Wow!" I think he got the lucky draw in the gene lottery.
It's just best to grow old gracefully. - Phil A.
Some people do grow old gracefully and do not look their age, let us hope it works for us as well Phil.
