Dictators

Charles Young

Do not be the person that questions,

or tries to fathom what they do.

The charade they give, masks the reasons,

of what they hide from me and you.

By doing their bidding we are complicit, and unaware, we are used as pawns.

They may hide in a quango, albeit licit.

But paranoia will always meet their dawn's.

We have no need to be complicit though Charles.

    that wake-up call
    of bite sized, Netflix awareness
in place, of that inked wisdom
    we choose to ignore...
    A great read, dear poet
    and an important message:
'or tries to fathom what they do.
The charade they give, masks the reasons,'
