What Matters Most

Neville

What Matters Most

It does not really matter

how

You choose to ignore him

now

Neither when, or how or

where

What really matters most

is surely

That you know

he’s somewhere near

And the very

simple fact, despite yourself

it seems,

You really do, still care …… x

Filled with care this write sounds to my mind like good parental advice to a youngster who chooses to end a relationship but then despite all odds is apt to change mind mid-way between today and tomorrow - - - -- scribed with your usual skilled attention to word and line-length it becomes so beguiling that I always want to know a little bit extra.............x

spot on maybe Fay .. well as near as near can be ............. and bless you for noticing earlier what I initially failed to ..... can't thank you enough for that .. nuff sed 🙂 xx

        Relationship sans communication -
        Crappy causation
        Ain’t no privation –
        Onward to salvation…

          ............. thanks Dave 🙂

                Neville,

                Yes I do know
                ‘he’s somewhere near’…
                and ‘despite’ myself,
                I ‘really do, still care…’

No matter how much time has passed and whatever has happened in the past, a special love will always be there never to be forgotten.

Thank you for sharing your penned thoughts.

sometimes, we all need a friend
to whisper this hard truth's to us
for, if let to our own devices
we would neve claim, or accept
                  such a vulnerable state, instead
we would just withdraw, into ourselves
even more and refute, that needling thought
                  asking, maybe:
                  'What really matters most
                  is surely
                  That you know
                  *they're somewhere near
                  And the very
                  simple fact, despite yourself
                  it seems,
You really do, still care …… x'
(just another subtle gem of a write, my friend
again, wonderfully paced and effortlessly worded
                  so instinctively relatable)

.. Take it from me, thanking you L.B is always so much a bloomin pleasure sir 🙂

                  • myself and me

A simple fact never seems so simple.

                    • Neville

                      simple as that ............ cheers M & M 🙂
