Unbroken

Fay Slimm.

Unbroken.

During the quiet at douse of day

where solitude lies in sandy lines

gone summer footprints of yours and my

making regain poignant meaning

in dusk-covered evening.

The beautiful secret of us still unbroken

can never be washed away

or be sunk into non-existence again

by tide or time nor can need once roused

belong to other than ours.

'where solitude lies in sandy lines
gone summer footprints of yours and my'..
just these lines alone, flooded me
and overwhelmed those painstakingly built dams
    to my regrets and bone-achingly, felt - hurts;
you've got teary eyes, thirsting: for a Time
    now, long forgotten
for a presence by my side
    now - long, since shed
    thank you, dear Fay!
for reaffirming that magic of Poetry, into my reality
    and allowing me
to break free, my shackles to reminiscing's: fears...

I am honoured that through reading Unbroken you have been able to break free L.B. --- time can never erase our past happy days and the magic of poetry will always help to bring gone love back.
